Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to allow time to meet the group and change into your walking gear.
Ensure you bring along appropriate clothing and footwear, see equipment, plus
sufficient refreshments for the walks. Remember it's far better to carry too much water than not enough!

Description: SUNDAY WALK: Meet on the green in front of the Anchor Inn pub in Great Barford for this lovely 8.5 mile circular amble along pretty riverbank footpaths. Passing via Chalton, Blunham, Tempsford and Roxton the walk follows the Ivel and Great Ouse rivers for much of the way including a stretch along the Kingfisher Way long distance footpath.
Please park respectfully outside the church or in a side road in the village. Bring packed lunch. Possibility of pub stops en route or at the end of the walk.

Description: SUNDAY WALK: Meet at the playing field in Creaton for a circular walk of approximately 6 miles passing through the villages of Hollowell and Cottesbrooke before returning to Creaton. Pub at the end of the walk for anyone that needs a drink.

Description: EASTER WEEKEND AWAY IN THE COTSWOLDS: This is the first of the Easter weekend walks. A 7-mile circular route starting in Broadway and going across undulating Cotswold countryside, past the Broadway Tower. Meet at the war memorial in Broadway. The later starting time (midday) allows members to travel to the Cotswolds in the morning. Please let Wayne know if you are joining the walk by 26 March. Members should make own accomodation arrangements but possibility of having evening meal/drinks with the other members in a mutually convenient location.

Description: EASTER WEEKEND AWAY IN THE COTSWOLDS: This is the last of the organised Easter weekend walks. Meet in Longborough village by the war memorial. From Longborough this undemanding 5.5 mile route heads to Bourton-on-the-hill passing the unusual Sezincote House, returning across fields. Fine views of the Cotswolds countryside throughout. Possibility of an additional 1.5 mile loop if required. This walk is the closest of the weekend walks to Milton Keynes, allowing for those wishing to join us just for the day.

Description: JOINT DAY TRIP TO PEAK DISTRICT WITH MK RAMBLERS: coach trip to Castleton, Derbyshire from outside Beafeater opposite Xscape CMK, returning to Milton Keynes 7.30/8pm. There will be a choice of two walks - one about 11/12 miles
walking on a steepish gradient and the other walk about 7/8 miles with a less intensive gradient. Be prepared for a long day and equiped with sufficient food/drink along with the necessary walking equipment for the conditions of the day.
