Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early to allow time to meet the group and change into your walking gear.
Ensure you bring along appropriate clothing and footwear, see equipment, plus
sufficient refreshments for the walks. Remember it's far better to carry too much water than not enough!

Description: Citty Chitty Dibley, come for a 10 mile walk visiting Turville (where Vicar of Dibley and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang were filmed), Fingest and Hambelton. Very pretty walk with plenty to see. Bring packed lunch, pub stop on route. Meet in the public carpark in Hambelton.

Description: AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND AWAY, an 8.5 mile walk with a great variety of scenery taking in the spectacular Swallow Falls, Llvewy Gorge and the Gwydyr Forest. Refreshments at start and finish, but bring packed lunch. Park by Betws-y-Coed station.

Description: AUGUST BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND AWAY, a 7.5 mile walk up Snowdon mountain using the Pyg track for the ascent and the Miners' track for the descent. Stunning views on a clear day. Early start due to minimum of a 6-hour walk and a car park that fills very quickly! Bring packed lunch.

Description: A friend has rented the Youth Hostel at Litton Cheney, Dorset for the weekend of 17-19 October 2008. There is an open invitation to allHike MK members to attend this weekend. The Youth Hostel is located in West Dorset near Bridport. If we can fill the hostel this cost would reduce to £25 each. There is one 6 bed dorm, the other dorms are 4 beds. If any one wishes to book a complete dorm, this can be accommodated. We are investigating leading two walks along this world heritage coastline between Abbotsbury and Lyme Regis.
