SUNDAY 5th FEB - Walk Cancelled

*** Due to heavy snow conditions around Sandy, Ben's walk today has been cancelled. ***

 Introduction

We are Hike MK - a walking group for younger adults of the Milton Keynes & North Buckinghamshire area. The group is one of the Ramblers' network of Hike 20s-30s groups. We organise walks on a regular basis, with a leader. Walk lengths vary between 4 and 15 miles on average and may take place over a half-day, a full day or a weekend.

We welcome adults in their 20s, 30s (and beyond!), but sorry, no children. Well-behaved dogs may be allowed, please check with the walk leader beforehand.

Young Ramblers

What are the Hike 20-30s Groups?

The Ramblers has been working to recruit more younger members through the formation of new local walking groups for people in their twenties and thirties. There are now a over fifty such groups covering England, Scotland & Wales, which have enhanced the Ramblers' ability to cater for a wider section of the community and strengthen its position as the organisation representing all walkers.

The Hike 20s-30s Groups are essentially the same as the existing "traditional" Ramblers Groups, except that they are run by, and aim to cater for, younger adults in their 20s & 30s (and beyond!). Each offers its own unique programme of activities which usually includes a varied selection of walks, from easy half day and evening strolls to energetic mountain hikes, all led by local members.
